Hello folks :) How are you doing today?
'Something Different' is happy to present to you the third greeting card from 'Valentine's day Special Series' : Red roses!
And here goes the tutorial for this card.
Step 1. Take a white drawing paper with dimensions shown in picture below.
Next step is to fold this paper along the marked lines. Resulting card will have two flaps as below:
Step 2: Time to make the red roses. These roses can be painted on white drawing paper and then cut them out, as I have done here.
However, if you are not comfortable with painting, then I am providing a .jpeg file of this red rose below. You can just take a print out of it on white drawing paper and cut along the outline. If you like, you can also change the colo
r of the flowers in MS-paint or other such application.
Step 3: Now, take one of the roses and apply an adhesive to only half of the back side of it. Then then paste this flower to the bigger of our base card such that half portion of the flower is free, as shown.
Repeat the same with the second rose, only this time paste it on the smaller flap of the base card, as shown below.
So your card will now look like this:
Now paste the last rose in a similar way to the bigger flap again.
Step 4: Now just write a nice, romantic message on the card and I have also added some leaves to the flowers using black marker pen. You can paint the leaves green instead, if you prefer it that way :)
And there you go, a rosy valentine's greeting card is ready!!!
That's it for today guys :) Hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Stay tuned for the next creative posts by 'Something Different'!
